Tunes For Finals

Final exams begin this week which means every single UNSW student will (at some point) be internally screaming. But don’t worry! These relatable tunes will give you the motivation to stop your procrastination and make you dance your way through your finals.

Tunes for Finals

‘I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)’- The Proclaimers

‘Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles
To fall down at your door,’

It will probably be us collapsing on our bed after finals because we will be so sleep deprived.

‘Bohemian Rhapsody’- Queen

‘He’s just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity,’

Monstrosity = Finals + Sleep Deprivation + Stress + Existential Crisis

‘Stayin’ Alive’- Bee Gees

‘And we’re stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive’

I think this one is pretty self-explanatory…

‘I Will Survive’ – Gloria Gaynor

‘At first, I was afraid, I was petrified
Kept thinking I could never live without (my notes) by my side
But then I spent so many nights thinking how (I might have to repeat this course)
And I grew strong and I learned (that Ps will get me degreEESSS)

‘Stressed Out’ – Twenty One Pilots

‘Used to dream of outer space but now they’re laughing at our face
Saying, “Wake up, you need to make money”
Yeah’

I’m pretty sure every university student hopes that at the end of this deep dark tunnel of debt is the glorious light of money.

‘Gives You Hell’- The All-American Rejects

‘When you see my face,
Hope it gives you hell’

This is probably the song that our textbooks and unwatched lecture videos serenade us with at 3 AM.

‘Celebration’ – Kool & the Gang

‘Ceeeelebrate good times,
Come on!’
Cue the confetti and this song once you walk out of Randwick Race Course.

Listen to the complete playlist on spotify.
