The third installment of these markets is bigger than ever before. Expect cooking demos (for the Student Cookbook of course), talks and craft activities as well as live entertainment. Each week, Martin Place will feature a different pop-up market – with gourmet food and artisan wares on the table, it’s the perfect excuse to take another lunch break.

Sydney Writers’ Festival

This week-long extravaganza of ideas and literature is back, opened by the incredible Kate Tempest. From feminist icons to former politicians, celebrated writers local and international, you won’t want to miss out. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of debauchery, with the adults-only Late Night Salon promising a secret or two from the fest’s sauciest guests.

MindBodySpirit Festival
